Essentials

With your meeting package, all of your basic meeting needs are included:

  • LCD projection/screen
  • Internet access
  • Flip charts and markers
  • Podiums
  • Sound systems
    • Dining Room Sound system upgraded in 2013, two microphones available, a lapel and a hand-held mic
    • Angora Room Sound system upgraded in 2014 to allow up to four wireless microphones at one time
      • The Angora Room can be split into two rooms with a portable wall, and each side of the room has its own sound system
    • The Cathedral Room Sound system upgraded in 2014 to allow for up to 8 microphones to be used at one time

Before your event, communicate with speakers/presenters to confirm A/V needs. Plan for a minimum of one screen, flipchart(s), and LCD projector(s). Stanford Sierra does not provide laptops. Be sure to remind presenters to bring all necessary cords and adapters to connect their computer to A/V equipment. Stanford Sierra does have a supply of cords and adapters, but technology changes rapidly.

There is a digital sign in the Stanford Room/Lobby where you can post messages specific to your event. Please provide copy and images one week in advance of your meeting.
