SOUTH LAKE TAHOE SHUTTLE TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION
At least one week before your arrival, you must schedule a shuttle pickup. Stanford Sierra Conference Center does not have continuous daily service.
From the Reno-Tahoe International Airport to Stanford Sierra, it’s a two-leg trip:
- Airport Shuttle: Visit www.southtahoeairporter.com to purchase a ticket from the airport to Golden Nugget Lake Tahoe. You can purchase a roundtrip ticket, or a one-way ticket, depending on your travel plans.
- Conference Center Shuttle : After booking your shuttle with South Tahoe Airporter, you will need to make advance arrangements for Stanford Sierra to pick you up at Golden Nugget Lake Tahoe. Complete the Stanford Sierra shuttle request to the right of the page to schedule your pickup at Golden Nugget as well as your departure if needed.
If you are a returning guest to Stanford Sierra Conference Center, you may remember that we used to drop guests off at Bally’s Casino. Due to a change with the South Tahoe Airporter route, we have switched to Golden Nugget Lake Tahoe as our singular drop off and pick up location. While this may add 15-20 minutes to your trip, it should ultimately provide a more streamlined booking service.
Stanford Sierra shuttle service is available on arrival day until 9:30pm and beginning at 7am on departure day. Should you have any questions please call the Front Office at 530-541-1244.

With advance reservation and payment, some local taxi services will pick up or drop off from the Reno-Tahoe airport to Stanford Sierra. Please contact them directly for rates and availability.
